Revolution Brewing

I am currently living in Chicago and working as the social media associate for Revolution Brewing, Illinois' largest independently-owned brewery!

Working within the beverage industry was a role that I was eager to explore after my experience with Boo Bears Brew. I've had the opportunity to work directly and create content with partners such as the Chicago Sky, Chicago Fire and Pitchfork Music Festival.

In this role, I've had the opportunity to expand my marketing skillset by aiding in activations such as music festival conceptualization and pro-sports events.

I've been able to create informative content for the brand while also conceptualizing viral content that has reached over 1M views.
Intern Years
I had the opportunity to live in New York and work as the social media associate for the Miss Universe Organization. Now, this was no ordinary internship. From day one, I was an equal member of the digital team at the organization and was tasked with pulling revenue and media clippings, drafting newsletters for global audiences, and conceptualizing branded content. I even had the opportunity to attend New York Fashion Week!

In May of 2022, I was sent to Indonesia on a solo trip with Miss Universe, Harnaaz Sandhu, and was tasked with creating content surrounding the Miss Puteri Indonesia competition. In my two weeks there, I interviewed, for a docuseries, the maker of the kebaya dresses for the competition, livestreamed the competition and attended every branded media event for behind-the-scenes content.

In January 2023, I was asked to help with the 71st MISS UNIVERSE Competition in New Orleans, LA. I had the opportunity to experience a culturally rich city while working alongside the digital team to produce social content, both scheduled and live.

Boo Bears Brew

I am thankful for the opportunity to build my skillset as the social media manager for Boo Bears Brew, a coffee shop in Wooster, Ohio. Wooster is my hometown and during 2020, while I was home due to COVID-19, I began working there as a barista .

I became the social media manager in 2022 and worked remotely while finishing my degree. This role prompted new and exciting challenges as I learned to navigate a smaller target audience versus the global audience that Miss Universe attracted. This role helped me to become a well-rounded marketer by communicating effectively with an array of digital consumers.

Working as the social media manager, I gained ample experience with food photography, videography, and social posting. Surprise, surprise: I loved it.
On Campus

On campus, I worked for a few publications; I began at VARIANT Magazine as the copy editor and the following year, was promoted to Executive Editor. In this role, I worked directly with the editor-in-chief to oversee the entirety of the magazine publication process and creative direction. This included many long meetings to conceptualize the magazine's theme, corresponding articles and PR rollout. I also directly oversaw the digital team.

In my final semester of college, I worked as a staff writer for Southeast Ohio Magazine, an SPJ award-winning publication. I pitched and wrote the cover story feature article about food insecurity in Appalachia and how it is being combatted.

I also have experience in music writing, news and science writing.
